Tommys' Scholarship

To the Teachers, Coaches, Faculty & Community of Pearl River High School -

It’s been some time since I’ve walked down the halls of PRHS. Since graduating as a Pearl River Alumni 2012, I’ve pursued a career in Real Estate as an agent in both New York & New Jersey, and have decided that it’s time to give back to the community that has positively shaped me in so many ways.

Tommy Argenti & Tommy Scognamiglio were both students of PRHS, classes of 2012 and 2014 respectively. Though they are no longer here with us, the light they shed on those around them has continue to shine in the years after they have passed.

Tommy & Tommy both encapsulated a gregariousness that was palpable in the classroom, on the field, and throughout our community. This scholarship is to be presented to the four students (2-athletic based and 2-academia based) who display true leadership and promote a convivial atmosphere within their team(s) and/or student body. They are the athletes and students that carry an optimistic attitude and strive towards the betterment of themselves and the community around them.

Tommys’ Scholarship is in part funded by proceeds from sales within the Pearl River School District and homes outside of the school district bought and/or sold by former Pearl River students.

I have all the hopes for this to be a scholarship that not only continues but also grows throughout the years.
